This World Series keeps getting wilder 😯
Plus: Latest in the NBA and more!
Today's rundown:
Houston’s no-no ⚾️
Nash & Nets cut ties 🏀
Clutch time for PG-13 🔥
Overtime action 👏🤯
Let’s get into this World Series because man, has there been a lot going on.
Tuesday night, the Phillies came out strong with some great pitching and a lot of home runs.
Ranger Suárez pitched five shutout innings while Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, Alec Bohm, Brandon Marsh, and Rhys Hoskins all homered.
With all those home runs, Bohm’s slam also happened to be the 1,000th home run in World Series history.
It was all fun and games…. that is until Wednesday night’s Game 4.
The tables turned with Houston wanting to come back from the 7-0 loss and make some history of their own.
The Astros combined for the second no hitter in World Series history.
Cristian Javier pitched six innings with 0 hits and nine strikeouts. Phillies were getting cooked out there.
Series is now 2-2. With all this back and forth action, Game 5 should be another good one!
Steve Nash is outta here!
With Nash going 2-5 to start this 2022-23 season, he and the Nets agreed to part ways yesterday.
This was some news for all NBA fans and apparently even for Durant. KD told reporters he first heard the news after seeing it on ESPN after waking up from his nap.
Though rumors have stated the Nets plan to now hire Celtic’s suspended head coach, Ime Udoka, Nets GM Sean Marks says he has not in fact determined the next head coach yet.
But will a new coach be the right move for Brooklyn? After Tuesday night’s loss to the Bulls, maybe Nash wasn’t the problem.

PG called game to give the Rockets a little treat of their own Halloween night.
Tied up at 93 with less than 20 seconds left in the fourth, PG made a baseline jumper over Eric Gordon to close the game.
The seven time NBA All-Star was locked in all night so it was only right he ended with a game winner. He had 35 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists, and 6 steals.
The Rockets played the Clips again Wednesday, but didn’t seem to be as hungry for revenge as I’d expect them to be, so were handed back-to-back L’s.
Exciting Wednesday night in the NBA with two overtime games.
First OT came with the Celtics and Cavs.
Darius Garland came back from his eye injury strong with 29 points, five rebounds, and 12 assists. He and the Cavs were looking to finish in the fourth but Tatum punched a dunk over Jared Allen and tied up the game at 107.
Celtics couldn’t hang all the way through overtime though, as Cavs took the win 114-113.
The last game of the night, Lakers vs Pelicans, got all Laker fans hyped.
Down 108-111, the Lakers rookie Matt Ryan came and delivered to force an OT. He hit a fadeaway 3 point buzzer beater with 1.3 seconds left on the clock.
Lakers were able to keep the Pels down the rest of the game to mark their second consecutive win.
