The NBA’s been back for 5 days and we’ve already seen so much drama take place and storylines take shape.

The Sacramento Kings are for real and might have the best offense in the NBA.

  • They beat the Clippers 176-175 on the road in the second-highest scoring game in NBA history.

  • De’Aaron Fox and Malik Monk both scored 40 and were unguardable all game.

  • They also shot 59% overall in the game. It was an unbelievable game stat-wise and is a sign that the Kings aren’t going away in a loaded West.

The Los Angeles Lakers are back and are for real.

  • They beat an injury-plagued Warriors team to open the last half by double digits and then overcame a 27-point deficit on the road to the Dallas Mavericks.

  • The Lakers can play defense much better now and have pieces that fit their roster better too. They’ll be a factor in a stacked Western Conference.

The Boston Celtics still run the East.

  • They won a high-scoring game against the Pacers to start the last half, and then beat the 76ers on a last-second shot by Jayson Tatum, to stun Philadelphia.

  • They have the most balance of any team. They need to be knocked off their perch for anyone to have a chance because they’re so good on both sides of the court.

Milwaukee can challenge Boston.

  • The Bucks just came off winning their 14th consecutive game against the Suns.

  • They also didn’t have Giannis Antetokounmpo these last two games and it didn’t matter.

  • They beat the Miami Heat in a blowout and came from behind to beat the Phoenix Suns.

  • They might have the best defense in the NBA too.

We have a ton of time left, but the NBA’s already off to a hot start in this stretch run to the end of the season. And we’re still waiting for one of biggest storylines with Kevin Durant still out and waiting to make his debut with the Suns.

Buckle up we are in for a WILD ride!

March is Coming 🚨

This past weekend was the first real indication that March is right around the corner thanks to a number of wild finishes and buzzer-beaters!

  • Iowa got Saturday started with an improbable comeback against Michigan State. They were down 91-78 with 1:34 left and then went on a wild run to tie the game at 101. The game went into overtime and the Hawkeyes took control and won the game!

  • Arizona State then shocked Arizona with a half-court buzzer-beater. Arizona blew a 10-point lead to the Sun Devils, who just wouldn’t go away. Desmond Cambridge got the ball with just a few seconds left after Arizona made 1 of 2 free throws, and he had just enough time to heave it. Arizona is safely in the NCAA Tournament, but this should help Arizona State get in.

  • Miami gave up a 25-point lead and then lost on a buzzer-beater to Florida State. Miami was dominating this game, especially in the first half. Florida State flipped a switch and made it a game in the second. Miami lost the lead, then made a three-pointer to re-take it, but then Matthew Cleveland chucked up a three-pointer at the buzzer to win it for the Seminoles!

  • San Diego State stunned New Mexico at home at the buzzer, thanks to Lamont Butler. San Diego State clinched a share of the Mountain West Title too. They also popped New Mexico’s bubble and forced them to have to win the Mountain West Tournament to get in. This capped off an incredible day of college hoops!

  • Michigan stayed in the bubble conversation with a buzzer-beater to tie the game against Wisconsin. Hunter Dickinson chucked it up as time expired and kept the Wolverines alive! The game was a slugfest throughout, with Wisconsin and Michigan not able to pull away on either side. This game might’ve decided the fate of Wisconsin on the bubble, with Michigan trading places with them.

  • The women’s game also got in on the buzzer-beater’s with Caitlin Clark stunning Indiana. Neither team was able to pull away in a huge battle in women’s college hoops. Both of these teams have national title hopes, but only one has Caitlin Clark. She scored 34 points and had 9 rebounds and 9 assists in the game too. She’s the best player in women’s college basketball and she showed it on a giant stage this weekend.

Throughout the weekend we also saw, Alabama and Kansas escape at home, TCU and Kansas State escape on the road, Baylor beat Texas, Indiana stun Purdue, Villanova stun Creighton, Mississippi State beat Texas A&M, Gonzaga get revenge against Saint Mary’s, and North Carolina finally got a signature win against Virginia.

Tommy Fury BEATS Jake Paul by Split Decision 💪

There was a lot made about this fight and how much people would actually care about it. There was even some discussion on how legitimate the fight actually was.

The fight was very close throughout, and Jake Paul actually landed the only knockdown of the fight, but Tommy Fury was more consistent.

Fury threw nearly twice as many punches as Paul and also landed nearly twice as many as him because of that.

This fight was much closer than many people expected. Jake Paul was widely picked to not just win, but win in dominant fashion.

Get ready for Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury 2, because that’s going to happen. What happens next though is anyone’s guess. Fury now has a brand name thanks to this fight, and Paul might want to fight KSI or even Nate Diaz next before a rematch happens.

Would you guys see a Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury rematch?

  • 😎 This man is the master of bat flips.

  • 😂 This alligator lost his appetite, it was so embarrassed.

  • 😬 Pain for Miami fans thanks to this shot.

  • 😝 This is comedy and a great impression.
