This team finally turned it around, but can they keep it going? 👀

Plus: Elite defenders and top tier records

Today's rundown:

  • Lakers long awaited win 🫡

  • Ohio State’s elite defender shined 💪

  • World Series is heating up 🔥

  • Eagles dodging all L’s 🏈

  • CMC greatness 👏

Well, well, well. Look who finally got a dub!

The Lakers were the last squad in the league to get a W after their 121-110 victory Sunday night against the Nuggets.

In just the past few games, it’s gone from Westbrook slander hate to Westbrook praise. He helped the team with 18 points, 8 assists, and 8 rebounds. That's the Russ I know and love!

Coming off the bench seems to be working out for the Brodie. The 6th man role just might be it.

To top it off, the entire Big 3 finally looked like somewhat of a solid Big 3 for once. Bron had 26 while AD added 23 and 15 rebounds.

The team even stepped it up in the three point category, as they went 43.3% for the night. Shots finally fell for the Purple and Gold and it felt good.

You can sense the vibe was different in Crypto and in the locker room too, as the team showered Darvin Ham with water bottles post game.

There’s still a whole season ahead so let’s hope the Lakers can keep it going.

JT Tuimoloau did what needed to be done!

Ohio State’s defensive end dominated the field Saturday over Penn State. He had two sacks, two interceptions, one fumble recovery, plus a pick six.

There was 2 minutes 47 seconds on the clock when Tuimoloau pushed Bryce Effner, caught Sean Clifford’s pass and strolled into the endzone.

This victory marked the Buckeyes 69th straight game scoring 20 plus points. The longest streak in the nation.

Ohio State is showing the Big 10 how it's done.

We’ve got ourselves a series!

The Astros had a response to the underdog Phillies after they lost game 1.

Houston scored three first inning runs to tie the series in the 5-2 victory.

We’ll see if the Phillies can hang in there after game 3 was postponed to Tuesday night. A little upcoming home field advantage won’t hurt.

So the Phillies are in the World Series and the Eagles are the only undefeated team in the league... Must be nice to be a Philadelphia fan right about now.

In Sunday’s victory over the Steelers, Hurts was 19 for 28 with 285 yards and four touchdowns. Brown had 6 receptions, 156 yards and three touchdowns.

Who's gonna stop the Eagles!?

CMC carried the 49ers in their 31-14 victory over the Rams Sunday.

But that's not all. He made history while doing it too.

McCaffrey became the first 49ers player ever to record a rushing, receiving, and passing touchdown in the same game. Not bad for just his second game with the Niners.

Monday night got the best of me...
