😳 Talk about a WILD card win!
It wasn't looking too hot for the Jags at the start, but it’s not about how you start, it’s how you finish, am I right!
Fans went from roasting Trevor Lawrence to praising him by the end of the night. It was looking real ugly after he threw four interceptions in the first half alone. On top of that, the score was 0-27 by the second quarter.
Lawrence had to lock in! And that he did to secure the third largest comeback in NFL history. Jacksonville went on a 24-3 second-half run! The biggest blown lead in Chargers history.
The Chargers choked big time. I’m sure their fans will be hurting for at least another week.
Lawrence heard all the noise and threw for three second-half touchdowns. The former No. 1 overall pick became the fifth quarterback to throw three interceptions in a playoff quarter since 1991. By the end of the game the QB finished 28-of-47 for 288 yards.
With a 36-yard winning field goal from Riley Patterson, the Jags notched the 31-30 victory.
The team is now headed to the AFC Divisional Round for the first time since the 2017 season.
Btw, Lawrence has been undefeated on Saturday in high school, college, and the NFL. You didn’t think he was actually gonna fold in the playoffs, did you?!
👏 The rookie's playoff debut!
Brock Purdy did not hold back against the Seahawks!
The QB went 18-of-30 passing for 332 yards and four total TDs to help his team in the 41-23 win over Seattle. Now that’s how you make a playoff debut!
Even across the way in the NBA, LeBron James had to get in on the Purdy hype. He tweeted out “PURDY GOT GAME”!! Real recognize real.
PURDY GOT GAME!!!!!!!!!

The rookie is that guy right now, and even teammate Fred Warner said “he’s the reason we have a chance at the whole thing.” At this point, can we just start calling him Mr. Relevant instead?
This marks San Francisco’s 11th win in a row. They're now just three wins away from their first Super Bowl victory since the 1995 season. Do you think Purdy and the 49ers can take it all?
⛹️ Mac McClung is ready to show off his hops!
Mac will be the first G League player to participate in this year’s NBA Dunk Contest.
This season, the 24-year-old is averaging 17.6 points and 4.4 assists for the Delaware Blue Coats.
The former Laker has had some pretty crazy dunks, so I’m ready to see what he can pull off in the contest.
It won’t be easy though. He’ll be going up against rookie Shaedon Sharpe and the Rockets Kenyon Martin Jr. Who do you think will show out with the best dunks?
👀 Speaking of dunkers...
JA MORANT WITH DUNK OF THE YEAR

One guy that should be listed in that dunk contest lineup is Ja Morant.
His poster over Jalen Smith during the Grizzlies game against the Timberwolves is all you need to see. It could very well be dunk of the year already, I don’t care if it’s only January.
Ja said it was his best dunk because of the difficulty. Also, because he was able to finish it and give the people what they wanted.
12 is a different breed. This guy has now dunked on EVERY TEAM in the league!
Even with all his JA-dropping in-game dunks, he’s said that he doesn't think he’ll ever do the Dunk Contest. It would take him $1 million to do it.
The Grizzlies star previously shared a tweet with his opinions on the judging. I’m not gonna lie, in recent years we have seen judges give out easy 50s or simply not enough accurate scores. But c’mon Ja, do it just one time, for the culture! Even Donovan Mitchell is trying to convince him.
Bruh just do the mf dunk contest 😂😂 @JaMorant

I would definitely pay to see Ja in the Dunk Contest. It gotta happen one day!
👑 A new NCAA three-point king!
Associated Press
Detroit Mercy's Antoine Davis set the NCAA career 3-point record on Saturday with 513 career 3s.
Davis kept draining ‘em! In Saturday’s game alone he made 11 three-pointers and ended the game with 41 points in the 87-75 win. This kid is comin’ for Steph Curry.
Davis passed former Wofford player Fletcher McGee who had 509 and he also moved up to third all time on the Division I scoring list with 3,232 points.
This is gonna be one tough record to break.

😮 Another record-breaking moment
USA Today
The Spurs brought it back to the Alamodome to host the largest crowd ever for an NBA regular-season game. 68,323 were in attendance to see the Spurs go up against Steph and the Warriors.
I don't know how you even see what’s going on from some of those seats, but hey, it's a vibe.
The previous record was 62,046 when fans came to watch Michael Jordan versus the Atlanta Hawks at the Georgia Dome in 1998.
Franchise legends were in the building with Becky Hammon and Tony Parker sitting courtside and Manu Ginobili in a suite. The Spurs went all out for their 50-year anniversary. Even Steve Kerr got a tribute video. Afterall, he did win two championships when he played for the Spurs.
There’s a lot of history in the Alamodome: San Antonio won their first title in 1999 playing at that arena and also hosted the 1996 NBA All-Star Game.
Unfortunately for the thousands of Spurs fans that came out, they had to watch their team lose to Golden State. But win or lose, one thing's for certain: the Spurs fanbase is legit.
