New season, who dis? The NBA is back in action!
Opening night brings us Celtics vs. 76ers and Warriors vs. Lakers.
I’m calling an easy win for the defending champs. It's no secret the Lakers have some work to do and pieces to figure out, while the Dubs continue to be a loaded force.
Plus, I’m excited to see if young guys like Kuminga and Moody can make a leap.
As far as Philly goes, we’ll see what Embiid and Harden can do against the Eastern Conference Champs.
The newest addition of guys like PJ Tucker, Montrezl, and De’Anthony Melton add depth but Boston also comes with a revamped roster.
On top of that, you already know Tatum and Brown are hungry to try and get back to the Finals.

Tennessee taking dubs…and goalposts? Fans went crazy after a historical win over the No. 3 Bama.
They beat Bama for the first time in 15 years so you already know fans were hyped. They immediately stormed the field in a sea of orange.
They wanted to make their presence known in a bigger way though.
Not only did they tear down the goalposts, they carried them all through Knoxville and then dumped them in the Tennessee River as the cherry on top.
It was probably right in that moment that they realized they’re actually gonna need those very goalposts to play in next week's game.
Now they gotta raise $150,000 to replace ‘em? Yea, didn’t think that one through.
On top of a $100K fine for storming the field. Yikes…it was fun while it lasted at least.

If we’re being honest, neither team was doing too much dominating, but luckily for the Chargers they were able to pull through in OT with the 19-16 win.

Unfortunately, the Guardians couldn’t back it up with a victory though. We’ll just have to see who's really whose son in Game 5.

Playmaker's Dunk Dynasty has crowned its first king 👑
Congrats to Chris Staples on taking home the big check and the bragging rights. He beat out five of the top dunkers from around the country in Playmaker's first ever slam dunk contest on Saturday.

Sheesh makin' it look easy
Dunk Dynasty was inspired by 11-year NBA veteran, three-time NBA Slam Dunk Champion, and long-time Playmaker friend and client Nate Robinson. Originally slated as host and judge of the competition, Nate was unable to attend due to health issues. He released a statement following the event announcing his ongoing battle with renal kidney failure.
