The Super Bowl is Here 🏆

The stage for Super Bowl 57 is set in Arizona. The Chiefs and the Eagles meet in the last football game of the season to see who gets to call themselves WORLD CHAMPS.

The storylines are endless.

• It’s the Kelce Bowl with Jason and Travis Kelce playing in the first Super Bowl matchup between brothers. Whoever wins that matchup has ENDLESS bragging rights!

• Andy Reid is also playing his former team. Reid coached the Eagles from 1999-2012 and is their all-time winningest coach. He’s also on his way to be the Chiefs all-time winningest coach too. There’s going to be a HUGE Andy Reid influence in this game, regardless of who wins.

• There’s health questions surrounding both quarterbacks too. Patrick Mahomes is still dealing with a high-ankle sprain, but should be healthier with the extra time off. Jalen Hurts is also still dealing with a shoulder sprain, and hasn’t been the same since the injury.

These are HUGE storylines heading into this game.

The Kansas City Chiefs are also dealing with more key injuries to their wide receiving corps. These guys are all dealing with injuries:

• JuJu Smith-Schuster

• Kadarius Toney

• Mecole Hardman

Smith-Schuster and Kadarius Toney are looking like they’re playing, while Hardman is more questionable.

All these storylines should help make this game an instant classic! My personal pick is that the Chiefs take this one in a tight game, because I just can’t bet against Mahomes at this point.

LeBron James Breaks the Scoring Record 🔥

HE DID IT! We just witnessed history! LeBron James passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s NBA scoring record, and he did it in just THREE quarters.

He did it with a turn-around jumper at the end of the third quarter with the crowd on it’s feet.

Kareem’s record stood for nearly 40 years, and the minute it happened the game was stopped, a video tribute came out, and LeBron even dropped an F-bomb in front of a sold out Lake Show crowd in his emotional speech.

Many people haven’t seen LeBron as a scorer in the same realm of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, but now he holds the record as the best scorer the NBA has ever seen!

The Lakers lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder 133-130 in a very close game, despite LeBron making history.

College Hoops has New Rankings 🏅

A CRAZY college basketball week ended with eight ranked teams losing on Saturday.

• Purdue stayed #1, even after losing against Indiana on the road in a GREAT game! Voters still like Purdue the best this so far.

• Houston, Alabama, and Arizona all are receiving votes for first place too. Those four are starting to separate themselves from everyone else in March.

• But, be on the lookout for whoever wins the Big 12 too.

College basketball has been crazy this year and it’s only going to get crazier as the season gets closer to March.

This week has a few good games spread out, but it’s going to really ramp up after the Super Bowl.

So far this college hoops season has been the epitome of craziness and there’s no clear favorite, so March is going to be appointment TV when it FINALLY gets here!

The NBA Trade Deadline is Thursday 🚨

The NBA Trade Deadline is this Thursday and we’ve already seen a few moves happen.

• Rui Hachimura got traded to the Lakers from the Wizards.

• But the big move was Kyrie Irving from the Nets to the Mavericks.

There’s rumors all over the place about different teams trying to make moves to improve and get better pieces.

• With the Kyrie Irving move, what’s happening with Kevin Durant? Is he satisfied or is it just a matter of time before he’s going to want out?

• A lot of eyes are on Toronto and if they’re going to blow it up and start fresh. Seems like they are taking their sweet time to figure it out, but they’re a team to keep an eye on.

• The Phoenix Suns are another team to watch for at the deadline. They just got a new owner, and he’s going to want to make a splash right away if they can pull something off.

• There’s also questions about the Lakers and if they are going to make a move at all because they seem stuck where they’re at unless they try and make a move at all.

• There’s a few other teams being rumored too for making moves like the Clippers, the Jazz, and the Heat to name a few.

Buckle up! We are in for some trade deadline drama before it ends on Thursday!
