Is this guy the new face of the NBA? 🤔

Plus: Busted winning streaks, dynamic backcourts, and ejections

Today's rundown:

  • Grizzlies duo attacks Nets 🔥

  • Chippy in Phoenix 🤬

  • Lakers trade in the horizon 👀

  • Patriots win streak ended 🙅‍♂️

  • Pelicans power through 💪

The Grizzlies showed out over the Nets.

Yes, Durant and Kyrie both finished with 37 but the team also gave up 45 points in the third.

And Ben Simmons? Well, he fouled out for the second time in three games. If you've been doing the math, that gives him 17 points with 14 fouls so far. Not ideal.

Either way, the Nets weren't a match for Ja and Desmond Bane and their 3 point shooting. Bane affirmed after the game that it's no fluke, they plan to play this way all season.

This performance was nothing new for Ja. The guy is already averaging 34 points and 7 assists this season… he’s really HIM.

Of course teammates are going to hype him up with Dillon Brooks calling Ja "unstoppable." But even KD can agree. After the game, he told reporters Ja is going to be the face of the league moving forward.

What do we think, is Ja Morant the real deal?

Just over a week into the season and things are getting chippy in Phoenix! Tuesday night’s matchup of the Warriors and Suns brought some heat for sure.

Klay Thompson and Devin Booker got into it during the third and shared some words with each other.

Klay had to let it be known the number of rings he has by flexing four fingers in D Book’s face.

I don't know about you, but this is the type of energy I love to see from guys on the court and these reactions made it that much better.

The Splash Bro ended up getting his first career ejection while the Suns got the dub and the last laugh indeed.

I smell a trade comin’!

Only three games in but the Lakers are looking far from a winning team. They needa make some changes asap.

Their possible solution? Terry Rozier.

It’s been said the Lakers are showing a high level of interest in the Hornets guard.

With the Lakers dead last in the league for three point shooting, Scary Terry could definitely help in that area.

For the sake of all Lakers fans, I’m praying they can be expecting a Charlotte package coming to LA soon.

The Patriots winning streak comes to an end. Justin Fields helped the Bears in their 33-14 victory, leading the team in rushing with 82 yards.

Not only did Fields and the offense pull through Monday, it was a good night for the Bears defense too. They forced four turnovers and intercepted both Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe three times.

For this to be Chicago’s first ever franchise win in Foxborough, a blowout ain't too shabby.

No Zion? No problem.

Not only was Zion out against the Mavs, so was B.I. and Herb Jones. Pels still were able to pull it off with the 113-111 victory. Sure says a lot about how deep this team is.

Trey Murphy held down the fort with a perfect night. 8-8 from the field, 4-4 from three, and 2-2 from the line. Doesn’t get much better than that.
