From No. 2 pick to the G League. Itās not lookinā too hot for James Wiseman.
On Tuesday Steve Kerr confirmed theyāll be sending the Warriorās center down to play for the Santa Cruz Warriors.
When you use your highest pick since 1995 to take a player, Iām sure youāre not expecting it to play out like this.
Coach said itāll be for an extended period of time so Wiseman better get comfortable and get in those reps, because one thing is for certainā¦He wasnāt cuttinā it in Golden State. Couldn't even find his way in the regular rotation.
At least in the G League, Wisman will be able to put in that work to hopefully improve from consistent play.
His teammate Jordan Poole even told him āItās not a demotion. Itās not a punishment.ā And thatās coming from a guy who spent some time in the G League and now has a $140 million contract, so thereās definitely hope.
Time to get right! Weāll see if he can bounce back to the potential many envisioned him having.

College hoops is here! And so are the Spartans.
Tuesday night's game against Kentucky was a double-overtime thriller.
Michigan State forward Joey Hausser went crazy. He ended the night with 23 points, 8 rebounds and went 4-for-7 from three.
When it came down to it, Kentucky missed too many necessary free throws and their forward, Oscar Tshiebwe, fouled out in the first OT.
With the 22 points and 18 rebounds Tshiebwe had, his absence was definitely felt.
Kentuckyās defense was clearly lacking tooā¦ because how are you gonna let a team go full court for a dunk with seven seconds left? Come on now, lock in.
It was in the final seconds of the fourth where Michigan Stateās Malik Hall was left wide open for a dunk to tie the game up at 62.
The No. 25 Spartans kept fighting through the second overtime to knock off No. 4 Kentucky 86-77.

Iām here for this matchup! Two young, ascending teams in the Pelicans and Grizzlies went at it on Tuesday night.
We all know Ja Morant is a walking highlight reel alone, but seeing 3-J McCollum, Larry Nance Jr., and GTA go up against him and the Grizzlies was even more entertaining.
Memphis seemed to be missing Desmond Baneās presence, while the Pels did just fine without Zion. They locked down and pulled out the 113-102 win.
CJ ended with a season high 30 points and 9 assists while Ja had 36, 8 and 4.
What happened in Sacramento?!
Terrance Davis happened, thatās what. He was on fire Tuesday night with 31 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals.
Putting up 113 points in just three quarters is insane, but a lot easier when you have seven players on the team in double figures as they did.
The Kings cooked the Nets 153-121. IN REGULATION.
Thatās the most points scored by any team so far this season and the most the Kings have scored in a game since 1993. How bout that!
Sacramento now has four straight wins, and from the looks of that game, theyāre not backing down.
